One of the biggest advantages about shopping online is that it’s relatively easy to shop around. You should of course have a good idea in mind about what you’re looking for from a conference hotel or other venue.

Think carefully about the following, location, capacity, facilities and cost.

The location of your hotel conference centre might matter more so for some conferences than others. Generally you’ll be looking for a location well situated in a major city, as this means people travelling from around the country will be able to find it easily.

Obviously, you’ll need a venue that has sufficient capacity. You should have close estimates of this in advance. Remember to invite people within your estimated capacity.

And then there’s cost. The cost of conferences can be high; however you might attempt to lower the cost by looking for sponsors, which is an option for many larger events.
