This is one place you must visit if you are on a trip to Arunachal Pradesh. This is one of the most beautiful places you will ever see in India.

  1. Sela Pass: -This is one of the most visited tourist destinations in the entire state. The mountain pass and spectacular views make the Sela Pass captivating and amazing. You can spot snow-clad mountains and beautiful lakes throughout your journey.

  5. Bumla Pass: – The Bumla Pass is just a few km away from the district. This is the perfect place for those who love adventure combined with fitness. You cannot take your vehicle after a certain point since the 16000ft altitude does not allow that. If you love chills and thrills, this is meant for you. If you are trekking, then it is advisable that you don’t go too high as the oxygen level will lower and you could have issues.
  6. PankangTeng Tso Lake: – This beautiful lake is frozen in the cold season and is meant for skiing. If you want to enjoy the winter chills and a calm day then you must visit this place. The radiant and bright flowers and birds will accompany you during your time here. And of course, this is a delight for those who enjoy photography.
  7. Jaswant Garh: – Apart from wonders of nature, Tawang also has an important wonder in man`s memories. The Jaswant Garh was made in memory of Jaswant Singh Rawat, who fought a battle alone against the Chinese troops. He was standing at the spot for 3 days at a high altitude of about 10000 ft and did not give up! The man truly deserved the honor.

There are never-ending spots in Tawang for those who love hills, lakes, and waterfalls. Do take a train to Tezpur, it being the nearest railway station to Tawang, which is 160 km away from it and from here, you can take a jeep or a taxi. To make your train journey more enjoyable, do not forget to book train food for the journey.
